Why do I need to register a Basic personal account?

A Basic personal account gives you 2 FREE surveys with a maximum of 100 reponses per survey. It also enables you to recommend businesses to start using SurveyMe and track when they’ve signed up, so we can reward you with cash.

Also by loging in the people collecting your feedback know you are real and not spam.

Is the feedback I give on SurveyMe anonymous?

Yes completely, unless the survey creator asks for your contact information in a question and you decide to provide it.

How do I download the SurveyMe App on to my phone?

The SurveyMe App can be downloaded on the iTunes App store, as ‘Survey Me’ or the Android market, as ‘SurveyMe’. Or scan the QR code on our home page.

How do I access surveys on SurveyMe?

Every survey has a unique code. You can access any survey once you know the code. This will be sent to you by people who want your feedback. Alternatively, press ‘Find Surveys Near Me’ on the App and depending on where you are all the surveys nearby will appear for you to select one.

How do I let people know about my survey(s) to get feedback using SurveyMe?

Every survey you create automatically generates

a unique SurveyMe code e.g. UK-SURV-EYME
a unique QR code that you can download
a unique web URL that you can use for e-marketing and websites.

You can send a SurveyMe code to your target audience (e.g. clients) in the same way you usually communicate with them. So email, letter, SMS text messages, website, Facebook, Twitter all work.

You can advertise the SurveyMe code or unique QR code in your business e.g. on a menu, website, invoice or price list to involve new clients

You can ask one of your employees to ask customers to give you feedback on your/their personal smart phone when they visit you.

Your customers can use their GPS-enabled devices to automatically search for surveys when they visit you.

How do I access the rewards once I’ve given my feedback?

Rewards automatically appear on your phone screen, together with any instructions how to redeem them, as soon as your feedback has been sent.

How much does SurveyMe cost to use?

A Basic SurveyMe account is free for 1 location/outlet, 10 questions and limited to 100 responses.

A PRO SurveyMe account costs £499 for an annual license (£49.99 monthly) for 1-3 locations. You can create unlimited surveys, collect unlimited feedback, and compare real-time operating performance of multiple locaitons.

Additional locations/outlets (upto 50) can be added at any time with a SurveyMe PRO account at an extra £125 per location.

Does SurveyMe cost my business more if I have more than one location/outlet?

A SurveyMe PRO user account allows you up to 3 locations. You can add additional locations/outlets for an extra £125 each, upto 50 locations, if you are more than 50 locations then please contact us.

How do I create a new survey?

SurveyMe has been designed to make it easy for you to create new surveys, plus edit and delete existing questions or surveys. Once you subscribe to SurveyMe there are full instructions and/or short tutorial training clips to help you.

What if I create a new survey and it doesn’t appear?

All new surveys that you create have a unique code that you select. This is recorded on your personal account and only visible to you. Once a code has been created, the corresponding survey questions will always appear until you delete that survey.

Can I create one survey and use it for multiple locations?

Yes, so long as you have a PRO or ENTERPRISE SurveyMe account, our software has been designed to make it easy for you to copy entire surveys, assign them to multiple locations, and compare the results.

Can I compare results for the same survey results between multiple locations?

Yes, the SurveyMe reports function allows you to select multiple locations and compare the same surveys over the same period.

What if I lose my log in details?

Just contact us and we will reset everything for you.

Can I send a survey to someone in my company for their approval before our clients start using it?

Yes, although surveys are technically live when you've finished creating them, a new survey can only be accessed if someone knows the SurveyMe code. If you mark a survey code ‘private’ when you first create a survey this means you can have it approved before letting the world know about it.

What questions should I ask on my survey(s)?

SurveyMe enables you to ask whatever questions you want in order to get the information you need from the people best placed to provide it. You can ask questions that allow people to give you (rating) scores, select multiple choices, or type simple ‘free text’ responses. You choose entirely what you want to ask.

Are there any survey templates if I’m short of time or not sure what to ask?

Yes, SurveyMe has pre-set surveys available for use in most industries. When you log in as a business user you will be able to select SurveyMe templates relevant to your industry and once you’ve selected a unique short code this becomes instantly live to mobile phone users.

Why should I use the SurveyMe app instead of the paper feedback forms that customers currently complete and return?

Paper forms and questions are usually fixed and printed well in advance so you don’t have the flexibility to get feedback on different or new parts of your service as and when you like. They probably cost more than £499 by the time you've also paid for printing and collated all the responses. Many customers don’t like completing them because they’re not anonymous. Your team does not necessarily submit all feedback forms to you. There is always a time lapse between the customer filling in the paper form and you receiving their feedback. Using SurveyMe overcomes all these issues.

Won’t customers feel inhibited when we ask them to use a mobile phone device to complete our survey?

According to the latest research, 50% of the UK now own a mobile smart phone. Thousands of people are actively using SurveyMe already. It usually takes less than a minute to complete a survey and collect a reward. People tell us its fun to use SurveyMe. Clients psychologically feel that you are welcoming and appreciating their comments whatever their opinion.

The information gathered could be damaging if it fell into the wrong hands. How do I know it is safe and secure?

We comply with the Data Protection Act and our systems have high data integrity in the protection and privacy of data. Our encryption processes and password protected areas will give you complete piece of mind. All surveys require your audience to log in at some point with their unique log in details. While their responses are anonymous, unless they choose otherwise, the system guarantees data integrity.

Can I create a safe / secure survey that only my target audience can see?

Yes, when you create a survey, our software will give you the choice to make that survey private. This means only those people you send the code to can access your survey questions.

How does SurveyMe app compare with other internet or email survey systems?

SurveyMe is competitively priced with internet and email survey systems when you consider data collection, collation, analysis and presentation. More often than not, when you complete an email or internet survey you are at a computer and some time has elapsed since you experienced the product or service in question. In that time a lot of things may have happened which can affect your opinion positively or adversely. SurveyMe provides real time feedback.

Can our customers access our SurveyMe surveys from our website as well?

Yes, when you create a SurveyMe survey, you can add a link to your existing website, Facebook page or email a web link to your clients as well. Clients will be able to complete your survey providing they have a free SurveyMe account. If they don’t already have one, they can register in a few seconds as they proceed to your survey.

If I want to change questions in a survey, how flexible is SurveyMe?

You can instantly change or delete the questions (or add new ones) that you want to ask customers as quickly as it takes you to type and send a one-line email. Once the changes are made they are instantly available the next time that survey is accessed by someone on their phone.

If we incentivise our clients to give their opinions, will they give false information which may lead us to making bad decisions?

While you can never account for making the right decisions based on one source of data, SurveyMe is an objective anonymous response system. You can design your survey to encourage objective feedback. Your clients will know their responses are 100% anonymous and they will be rewarded whatever their opinions. Clients only see the reward once their feedback is sent. SurveyMe gives you all feedback and opinions good, bad, or indifferent.

Am I limited to how many times I can access the website for reports or change questions?

There is no limit on how many times or how often you access your confidential information on the SurveyMe website. You can make as many changes as you like to questions. You can make as many changes as you like to the rewards you want to give people for their opinions.

We currently enjoy a high level of customer satisfaction, so why do we need SurveyMe?

That's good to hear! But SurveyMe also allows you to send rewards to your loyal clients who will return again and continue to give you feedback to allow you to maintain your standards. You decide what you need to know to improve your profitability.

Can our customers access our SurveyMe surveys from our website as well?

What if a business I want to give feedback to, isn’t already using SurveyMe?

On the App, select the recommend button. There you can fill in your details, the business name and a contact email address at the business (ask them if you don’t already know). Press ‘send’ and we will automatically contact them within minutes of you pressing ‘Send’. if you are the first person to recommend them and/or the last person to recommend them before they subscribe to SurveyMe, we will contact you and arrange a cash reward for you too.
